I'm and avid gamer, actress and personal trainer. I've gamed for longer than I care to admit...and love it more very day. I am a shooter gal FP or otherwise and play some RPG.
A friend of mine introduced me to Mass Effect and I fell in love with the game. Needless to say so many hours of my life have been spent playing this game. When i heard that Legendary Pictures obtained the rights to make the movie I said "I have to be in it!" Two of my passions rolled into one.So now I am on the journey to get into it.
When I am not kicking the geth or the covenant or anything else that gets in my way in the teeth, I am devouring comic books, movies, (good) TV, and all things tech. I have a deep passion for the things I do and believe that we as gamers have the opportunity to not only change the way that people precieve the world but also how they interact in it. We are on the front line of opening people up to places and characters that they would otherwise never have the chance to experience.
So everyone has a dream. I would have to say that a vast majority of people never find those dreams come to fruition. Mostly I think it's because we are scared. Scared of being redicluled and made fun of and told that we are stupid for thinking that something so grand could ever happen to someone so small such as us. Here's what I have to say to those people. I feel sorry for you in the fact that someone somehwere along the line squashed your spirit in the same way you try to do to us. You call us foolish, but the only foolish thing is to let your dreams get away from you and forget that this life is worth living to the fullest. Why go through the day with nothing to look forward to and nothing to reach toward. Look at it this way. If you are going to live very day of your life miserable with who you are and what you do then what's the point. Change who you are. Change what you do. And if people tell you No then keep going until you find someone who believes in what you want to be as much as you do. They are out there. We just have to figure out how to get them to take notice.
So I leave you with this. I want to be the savior of the Universe. Multiple times if possible. I was to fly around in a space ship and head-shot bad guys with assault rifles. I want to know the love of a beautiful alien. I want to be the paragon protector of my crew and the renegade bad ass who breaks the rules to get it done. SO. WHO DO YOU WANT TO BE?
And I have to add that I am proud to be charmed by the one girl with the biggest gaming collection by day.
